Life's Grandeur

I’ve always been one to say that I firmly believe that when it rains, it pours. Well, lately, the sun has been shining and shining and shining.
Jarrett got back from MEPS Wednesday afternoon and everything went pretty darn well. My fantastic husband is officially in the United States Navy! As of right now, he’ll leave for Basic at the beginning of May. If everything continues the way it’s going right now, he’ll be a Navy Corpsman, which is simply amazing. However, he has paperwork in to change jobs if his first option becomes available, which was Master at Arms (basically, he’d be Navy police officer). He also has paperwork in to leave for Basic earlier if a spot opens up for either job. I’m so excited for the changes that are about to happen in our lives and I’m proud of him for finally taking the plunge!
The second thing is about to me, but it’s no where near as important as the Navy. I was invited to write for an online publication out of New York City called My Trending Stories. They’ve invited (seemingly) a million small-scale blog writers to write for them so they can get their articles out to larger crowds. Now, I don’t post what I write here on MTS because it’s mostly about us and we’re kind of boring, but I do post the articles that I write on my blog, Fruitful Euphoria, over there. I suggest checking out either, if you haven’t already.
That’s all that’s new these days, really. I’ll return home when I have something worthwhile to write about, same as always.
