Long, Long, Long Weeks

The past three weeks (including this one) have been INCREDIBLY long and tiring. Even when it’s stuff that I SHOULD’VE been excited about, I’ve just found it exhausting.

Jarrett and I had our “wedding reception” on the 17th and we had family and friends come in from three states. It was a very heart-warming and very crowded party, but we had tons of fun. I needed to sleep for several days after. That didn’t happen.

The week before the party, Jarrett’s brother and his family came in, so we spent the whole week with them. The party was on Saturday and my sister came in with her family the day before. I spent the whole next week with them.

Two weeks of running all over the place, doing everything under the sun to entertain small children. We went to the Little Rock Zoo, bowling, outlet mall shopping, etc.

Immediately after, I started training for my new job. It’s been slow, pointless, and aggravating. I’m already ridiculously worried that I’m not going to like my job. At least I only have to keep it until Jarrett gets his first duty station. Probably a little less than a year, we’re thinking. Jarrett says I can take some time off and be a “stay at home mom” for a while after we move. What am I going to do with myself? I guess I’ll have to pick up some hobbies… Hahaha.

I do have a couple of “news” type things to report though.

A website called MyTrendingStories.com found my blog somehow and invited me to write for them! This is an awesome opportunity to get my writing out to a MUCH larger crowd and I am SO super excited to start. Please follow them and keep an eye out for me!

Two days after our party, we got some photography done! The AMAZING photographer that we use did three different shoots for us and only charged us for one. We did family shots, newlywed shots, and Bodhi even got to take some 8 month pictures You’ll be able to find all of them in one of the slideshows below!

I feel like something else happened, but my mind has gone blank and I can’t remember at all… Wow, that’s just like me.

Just because I feel like it, below I’ll put a couple of new “selfies” Jarrett and I took together. We look super great sometimes, haha.
