Goodbye, Hiatus!

As anyone may have noticed, I took a bit of a break. After my son was born, I became incredibly busy, which is to be expected. Then, when he was three weeks old, we moved and didn’t have WIFI until yesterday.
Yesterday was our first day in our new apartment, Apartment Number 2. Our first apartment was on the bottom floor, which was in the basement of the building and Apartment Number 2 is on the third floor of our complex with an adorable little balcony as well as a new kitchen. My favorite part is the light that pours into my living room from the glass door. Our complex was built in the 60s-70s era when lamps were a big deal, so there isn’t a light fixture in the living room. How ridiculous is that? Apartment Number 1 was so stinkin’ dark (basement, remember?) that Bodhi blinked like a tiny mole baby every time we went outside. It broke my heart. I LOVE sunshine… That problem is solved and I couldn’t be happier.
Needless to say, the whole moving process just stressed Jarrett out. I adore change, chances to start over or do something new. It always seems so exciting to me. He’s the exact opposite. While he doesn’t mind the change once it’s fully established, the process of getting there drives him bonkers and he complains the whole time. I just roll my eyes at him (with love).
To be honest, this is the first important, worthy-of-blogging-about thing that’s happened in quite a while. Everything has either been too stressful to re-live (my poor boy has gone through some garbage…), or so pointlessly boring that it hasn’t been worth mentioning.
Obviously, this was my “hello, I’m back from my hiatus!” post. I swear I’ll promise to try to post more regularly!
Just because, here are some pictures Bodhi and I took recently while at his 4 month check-up!
